Anything new on room spells? you can't use them in PvP and if you use them in a party only 1 person gets the exp...

There isn't a lot of reason for other people to get the exp if they aren't attacking the mob. However saying that it wouldn't be impossible to switch to a party split mode where players in a party automatically get a smaller percentage for being in a party that makes a kill and then from there the rest of the attacking members split the larger share. That would make sense in some cases especially for healers that tend to have to break off combat. Another however in that is that it makes it easier to power level players where as a room spell capable player drags around a number of low level players that don't ever bother to attack. There are enough pros and cons to not really make it worth changing.

As far as pvp goes room spells only really make sense if your fighting more than one target i.e mixed pvp and pve or multiple pvp.

only the people with combat on should get the exp. and only get exp for what they are attacking. if there attacking 1 mob they get part of that mobs exp if they are rooming they get the split exp of the mobs that die. and as for pvp it is very common for people to bring 2-3 extra chars to fight with so being able to room in pvp makes it easier to survive than just being a . you can hang but then get camped for hours till you log on to see them still in your room waiting for the kill.

Not that I walked into this otherwise knowingly but why would they get anything otherwise as stated before? Do you even remember what you're original question was?

The problem he is talking about TCA is an issue with 2 casters in a party.  Only 1 gets exp for the kill if both are rooming.

The pvp issue is a combination of bugs related to pvp levels and resisting spells.

Eh should have been more clear then hehe. If two people are room spelling in a party then they should certainly both get a share of the exp.
