Gaunts being immune to backstabs is a glaring issue regardless of blind being on them or not.
totally agreed Backstabbing pvp in general needs to be looked at and reworked, another huge glaring issues is the ability to break/hide/sneak/bs without any pauses in time and the abilte to leave the room sneak and come back in while combat is still engaged on you. All 3 of these issues need to be addressed at once though and not just fixing gaunts and leaving the other two huge glaring pvp issues out there.
like sneaking in engaging a bs but sneaking out if u decide to relocate without the engagement breaking ur sneak? I'm not surf bout that. If u were gonna sneak up and backstabbing someone irl but decided not to and moved away quietly I don't think that person would ever know the almost got stabbed.
No its when lets say you are hidden and i search you out and engage on you then you engage on me you can leave the room sneak and come back in the room and engage on me while the whole time I will think combat is engaged on you, which it will not be and you will get a backstab off on me. This is not how it works in Majormud, if I have combat engaged you will not be able to sneak again until combat is broken on both sides.
We agree on how major mud operates but im unaware of the ability to engage sneak while combats still engaged like bsing huge obsidian golem lets just call him hog, leaving the room running about 3 rooms cuz he chases but I run and I can't engage sneak for a few seconds cuz of hogs combat on me. Since everyone but me seems to know this flaw why not teach me so I can abuse it too EVIL ass grin
