So we all know the the theory of the make-up of our planet as far as until the crust right. Mantle, outer core, inner core.? These are the things that make our planet spin.? Now if thats true does the moon have a molten core, because it spins too.? Or doesn't it and our theory of the inner make-up of our planet completely off?? Sorry 2:30 am and tipsy. Blame whoever crashed the board and took my consentration off mud. LOL

Thank You for at least humoring me. LOL

The moon rotates because of the gravity from the earth and the sun DURRRRRR!!!!! lol
Well lets think about that.... NO! Your wrong. The earth and the suns gravityation pull keeps the moon in orbit yes. But that doesnt explain why it spins... Maybe it use to have a molten core but the moon died. But since there is nothing to slow down the moon in space it continues to spin.

Ok, I have done a little research on this subject and come up with nothing except supposedly the moon used to spin really fast but the earths tide slowed it to one revolution per rotation which is why we always see the same side of the moon. I'm very concerned about the genius' of our time and that they can't figure this out or maybe i just havent found it. One things for sure... I writing NASA a letter. lol
