I think the ice dmg effect may have killed this gibbering horror, which may have caused the crash.
Either way, thanks for the gear Winter.  You should have just let me kill your dumbass friend and stayed out of it.

I just want everyone to keep things in perspective. We're beta testin. so lets not get all hurty feelings, eh?

Still, the pvp is fun. I havent done any yet, tho. :(

I really like the bug where all the stuff I picked up magically disappeared.
Coincidental too that the board went down after he died....

It was an unhandled null reference exception.  Unfortunately the info that bubbled up from the exception didn't give me enough to figure out excactly where it happened, but I added code this morning that will tell me exactly what caused it next time it happens.

Fermouth, it really was just a coincidence, and I apologize that it happened in the first place.  The game saves changes to disk once every minute.  The crash must have happened less than a minute after you killed them and picked up the stuff.

We might find that the bug is related to pvp, perhaps when someone is killed.  I don't know for sure though, and it's too early to speculate.

We had another crash around 6:45am PST this morning, but with the extra code I added recently I was able to pinpoint the exact line of code where the error was occurring.

It's a fairly involved fix and I don't have enough time this morning to make the change so I just restarted the current version.  I will try to get that fixed tonight when I get home.
