When a faucet handle breaks off in your bathroom...

Oh, so a couple months ago I had my neighbor come over and he assured me I did in fact close the right valve which was supposed to turn off the water to the house.  The valve is very temperamental though as you seriously need a rubber mallet or something to make sure it's closed all the way.

I can also now say I'm somewhat of a faucet expert.  Well maybe not an expert so to speak, but I did replace the faucet myself so I feel more prepared if that ever happens again. ;)
