Traikhul is a colossal, Herculean Dwarf Cleric with no hair and black eyes. He
moves very swiftly, and is quite unfriendly and aloof. Traikhul appears to be
slightly dull and looks like he is one with the Gods. He is slightly wounded.

Been that way for awhile now.  It's one of those bugs that we created when we changed the way the game gens mobs but didn't update the content to account for the new spawn methods.  There are a ton of rooms like that all through out the realm.

Thats a need bug you allow people to abuse to get ahead.

Oh I can stop it but I shouldn't have to.  We need to either address the content or address the change in the engine that allows this to happen.


Just look around, you'll find plenty.  I know of about 9.

So instead you let people abuse it to get ahead of other players who aren't abusing bugs, GJ this reset is as fucked as the last one.

If I stopped everyone from using bugs in pvp then we'd have to shut the realm down because nobody would be able to play.

There are a number of these types of room in the realm right now.  They have their ups and downs.  The main down is that everyone knows about them, so you are very likely to get pvped.  The upside is that its kinda easy to script.  hill giant chief room is the same.  So are most of the ice golem/ice wraith rooms.  Room outside Lallim whitemane is one as well.  The entire crimson fort is like this.  The list goes on and on.  I dont think its really that bad,  you can make pretty much the same exp just regular scripting as you can doing 1 room, only difference is that it is somewhat easier to do the rgem rooms because you only fight 1-2 mobs at a time.

There are countless lairs in the realm where the engine's spawn mechanics can be used to script one or several lairs in a tight grouping.

In most cases, I agree with Pentagruel in that the exp reaped is either below or equal to that of doing a full loop of the same area. There are several locations that clearly provide more exp/hr than they are supposed to, such as the hill giant chief's room. That being said, I think the current spawn mechanics are one of Greatermud's strengths. It provides a much more viable selection of useful areas than stock spawn mechanics allow, and is useful from both the pve and pvp aspects in that you can literally hide almost anywhere once you understand the parameters needed for these types of spawn rates to occur.

The one aspect of current spawn mechanics here that I feel actually needs adjusting is random spawn. The chances for random spawn need to be raised. But I would rather accuracy vs ac formulas be fixed before anything else, as well as dodge interaction with said formula specifically in pvp. To me, this is the biggest issue right now (out of many).
