Hello everyone,

Since my fiancee lost her job a few months ago and doesn't qualify for unemployment (she was only there for four months and the way the quarters were divided worked out against us, story of my life, but I digress), we've been in the red every month and I've stretched my account as far as possible (and then some) to keep the food on our table and the roof over our heads.  I'm almost done paying for her knee surgery (just a few more months) and then we should be back in the black.

Other than asking for some hardware donations many years ago, I've been fortunate enough to remain employed and never have to ask for money/donations from anyone.  Today, I caved out of necessity.

I've temporarily placed a donation link in the menu bar at the top.  I don't know what to expect, but if anyone has a little extra money to donate to our project it might help us cover some of the bandwidth, hosting, electricity, etc. and maybe give me a little breathing room so I can find/make some time to actually work on GreaterMUD.  If you're not in a place to help, don't sweat it -- I understand completely.

If you look at the top where the home, help, search etc is, it's at the end of that line.

If you're strapped for cash, why not offer custom loyal items/spells for a 'donation' ? This is the model a lot of free to play games are using nowdays and in the case of LOTRO its making them 3x the revenue than the subscription model was.
