Avocado margaritas are awesome.

Chronicles of Riddick is not.

CoR was too clean.

PB was much better until the "feel good" stuff at the end. He should've pushed the chick to the bugs and dumped the other 2 out as well.

When it comes down to it, everything is a remake of everything else anymore.

And although I like PB, comparing it to Aliens? Ouch. What did James Cameron ever do to you?

I think my biggest problem with CoR is it pretended to be more than it was...it seemed pretentious (much like Star Wars Episodes 1-3 or [shudder] the last two-thirds of the Matrix trilogy). I can't stand pretentious sci-fi.

Well, there are only 7 basic plots after all...so after the very first storyteller covered those, everything else was a remake. ;)

But, I know what you mean. It's sad when you can predict the "twist" (or three) half way through a movie.
