BLOWS!

I wish we could get over this whole retro trend already.  Mustang, Challenger, Camaro, they're all crap... we're in 2006 and we're making cars that resemble cars from the 1960's.  They're fun for about a year, but I could never see myself driving any of them for any longer than a year.  Yes, they have beefy V8's (well the Challenger and Camaro do anyway, it wouldn't be a stang unless it were slow :P ) but why wrap it in a big ol' retro package.  I hope Chevy falls flat on their face with this one, and I can't wait until GM finally gets rid of Mr. Lutz.

On a side note, I would however take a new Z06.  It's powerplant?  A 427 ci, 7.0L V8 putting out 505 naturally aspirated horses STOCK.  All that packaged with amazing handling (50/50 weight ratio) and some meaty tires, and all for about $70k.  It will wipe the floor in both cornering and acceleration with exotics that cost 2-3 times as much.
