Why can they swing at me before i hit them?

Why can they swing at me and then i can back stab them and i can sneak in there room is there something with who swings first? Here is a cap

Oops.  I added code to allow mobs to swing first 50% of the time but forgot about backstabs.  Will fix this right away.  Thanks!
