What can we leave out for initial release? (if anything)

As our list of missing features grows smaller daily, we're reaching a point where we need to decide what we can put on the backburner until after the initial release.  The help system is a perfect example.  How many brand new users are going to be playing this game that haven't played in Major MUD?  My guess is under 1% of the player population.  Maybe that suggests we can put that off until later in order to get this thing out sooner.  Are there any other outstanding items that also fall into this category?

Cutting some of these non-critical items out could definitely help us get the first version out sooner, but is that acceptable?

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

The only areas I can see are really backburner worthy are the following:
PVP limits
Custom Statlines
Set Suicide
Set Maxpages
Set Interrupt
Set Messages
Set Telepath On/Off
Set Follow - this is verbose/brief/blind for following....
Set Entrances
Set Speech Fast/Slow
Set Gossip On/Off
Set Auction On/Off
Set Response
Hospital and Inn type rooms - these just aren't used or really understood at this point.

Note - Set Brief/Verbose is working we just need to put the switch back in...

Help File Note - We really should have a help system in however the bulk of the actual content of the help file can be left out. The most important part of the help file right now would be to show the descriptions for races and classes. However if we get the native editor in instead we could alter the race/class datasets to Provide their helpfile descriptions directly from there which in my mind would actually be the better option.

Abilities Notes - The majority of the abilities need to go in there are a few older abilities that don't get used that could potentially be put on the back burner and go in on a minor upgrade. However if people are editing their own works then its hard to say what is and isn't really going to be used or wanted. So I think at this point we probably should just get everything working by way of textblock commands and abilities...

Speaking of the help system..didn't I post the complete textblock of it?

I have a copy of it available...

We were thinking of trying to make it easier to set topics and stuff though... And it really should be retyped to avoid any of the unlikely copyright issues..

Well..not really, I don't think we have any copywright issues to contend with..sorry I worked an extra 16 hours today I didnt mean to.  I love my work now, HIV research >mmud.  I love both..but seriously :)

I know we've had the whole abandonware talk and stuff but the fact remains that we don't the rights to it.
