I was going to suggest a ressurection spell but then i read the existing topic and saw you guys discussing the problems it might have in pvp, admittedly all my ideas will be pvp minded buy here is what i think should happen.

Once combat is ended, a player that has recently died can be summoned back to the room the surviving party members are in. This would happen using a spell/item that required a certain number of party members to be in the room and could only be activated when out of combat. Theoretically this should eliminate any PVP abuse of the talent.

I have no idea if one class or all classes should be eligable to use this talent, but perhaps we could give it to warlocks like in WOW or we could just give it to any spellcaster. I like the idea of doing a level 45-50 quest to gain this ability/item.

heres an idea how that could work. I think with pvp if you die there should be a pvp retaliation period, sysop settable 1 minute to 10 minutes or something. That way if you were returned to the spot you wouldn't be able to help much.

There's a few games that use a mark and recall spell pair to do this type of thing. Mark sets the location and recall takes you to the marked location. The Mark spell gets reset after each use of recall. I've even seen potion and amulet versions in a few games. As long as recall required you to be out of combat I wouldn't think it would be too abuse-able of a system.
