Maybe I'm just not aware, but does the "grips you in its claws" do random damage?  In the first one where I got lifted and dropped (but took 0 damage from the fall, and I'm gunna assume that's my DR affecting the "spell"), it knocked off 17 hp.  In the second, I lost 37 hp (16 from the fall, and 21 I guess from the grip?).  I wasn't poisoned.. those were the first two rounds of combat.  Is this normal?
If a little knowledge is dangerous, where is a man who has so much as to be out of danger?

The "drop" is a hitspell.

The attack is 12-30
The drop is 4-20

DR should be affecting both, MR should not affect the drop since it's a non magic spell.  That gives a max "hit" of 50, take out your DR of 11 puts the max hit at 49.

It looks pretty up and up to me.

All right...  I hadn't ever really looped there and I suppose I could've done my own research.  Didn't know the whole "grip" thing did actual damage.  Sorry to bug ya.   :-\

Wyverns needs to be seriously fixed. Its way to hard for its exp output.  The best part about it is that half of those critters follow at 100%
