if fear moves you through a trap, you wont get hit

Yep, you also move out of the Beholder's no exit room but that one has already been reported

I don't see this as a bad thing.  I know I've been feared by beholder and watched it go back and forth through the trap many many times..  Fear is bad enough, making traps effective would basically be guaranteeing your death while feared at beholder - which I think would be just plain silly.

Of course you can try to fight fear by continuously going the same direction, but nonetheless.

I don't think fear should take you through portals as it does when in NPP.  Of course I suppose better to shoot through a portal than to end up in Magus' room while feared!

Black Wasteland
You notice whirling vortex here.
Also here: terror beast.
Obvious exits: north, southeast
The terror beast's unearthly shriek strikes terror into your heart!
You are afraid!
Darkwood Forest
You notice whirling vortex here.
Also here: Manshoon.
Obvious exits: south, northwest
*Combat Off*
Darkwood Forest
You notice 1 gold crown, 6 silver nobles, 4 copper farthings here.
Obvious exits: north

Fear will allow you to move through Vortex's as well.
Kinda of annoying  to be running around darkwood and stuff feared.

?I slept with faith and found a corpse in my arms on awakening; I drank and danced all night with doubt and found her a virgin in the morning.?
"Aleister Crowley"

just my opinion , i think if your feared, why not go through those exit's too?
Or am I missing something..?
No,
Idk what reg mud does..

Personally I'd like to completely rework how fear works.  I'd like it to run a straight line as much as possible.

Somewhat off topic, but just the other day we had someone get stunned running through the Magus' room. First person sent in to rescue managed to find/drag Lord of the Hunt, a terror beast or two, Behemoth, Planar Storm and a Hordeling into the room the guy was hungup in... The one just east of the Magus. He then proceeded to get feared, fear took him to magus room, got stunned, fear took him back to LotH's room where he hungup.

So everthing was left east of Magus' room with two people already hungup, at the same time that some of our group were also chasing Dragon around the Wastelands, talk about the timing.

I was not impressed.
