That's right.? I ordered static IPs, but got "sticky" IPs.? Anyone else heard of this?

I did some research (because my ISP sent me literally NO info on this) and found out large DSL ISPs are migrating to this new system.? Usually Dynamic setups use PPPOE, where you log in and you are assigned an IP.? Static ips are typically bridged where, as far as I know, they're set up for your location so no logging in is necessary.? Well sticky IPs are some sort of hybrid.? You don't actually get your sticky IPs until you log in via PPPOE, then the entire block of IPs gets assigned to you.? If you disconnect, your IPs are technically not assigned to you anymore until the next time you reconnect.? The problem is, many (most?) routers don't support PPPOE for static IPs.? I know neither of my routers support it.? I end up with one usable static IP which is okay, except I'm wasting a block of 5 usable IPs because I don't have the proper hardware.? Nice of my ISP not to tell me any of this.

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

I think I'd tell my ISP where to stick those IPs...but judging from the name that's where they came from in the first place.
