u initially stated the gameops would not be able to play...at first i pondered throwin my name in the hat...but then i decided i would roll and be an active player...didnt want to sit in bank and op....i do not believe anyone thought the ops would be able to play...now that uve flipflopped like a democrat u have successfully prolly ensured the ultimate demise of the realm...u just hammered the last nail in the coffin...in other words...ur a damn fool!!! im glad i donated cash to ur bs...

3 years ago GreaterMUD was PVP only.  PVP was so broken that we disabled it until we could make more progress on the engine.  Just over 2 years ago we started talking about putting a pvp realm back online so we could start ironing out the remaining problems with the pvp side of things. 

When we started discussing it I asked Vitoc to find someone else to op the pvp realm because I did not want to do it.  He even mentioned that in a post 2 years ago:

When we are ready to conduct PVP testing, we will notify everyone ahead of time and likely create a second realm where Gardner (by his own accord) likely won't be the game op.

We never found anyone to op the realm so I agreed to do it until someone could be found.  2 years later I'm still doing something I never wanted to do in the first place.

I tried to get people who don't play on PVP to be the op.  The answers ranged from "No thanks" to things I can't print here on these forums.  I am unwilling to continue in the roll of mudop for the pvp realm.

Having Jigga and Twogirlz as mudops might work out great.  It might not.  Only time will tell and I will be watching carefully.  How plesant the experience is for you will ultimately boil down to how you treat them.  If you give them a chance they might surprise you.  If you abuse them non stop then it probably won't be very enjoyable for you.

I think they are entitled to a chance to prove themselves to the players here. 

If you feel that they have in some way cheated then contact me on the forums via PM and include whatever information you feel is important to back up your claim.  I will investigate it and get back with you.  I can see a great deal of what goes on even though I'm not online so blatant cheating will not be hard to prove.

This may not be the ideal solution in some peoples eyes, but until they actually do something wrong there is no reason not to allow them the chance.

It's too bad so many people have permanently left recently.  Now with 2 non-playing (for the most part) mudops, that's just 2 more nails in the coffin.

I cant speak for Jigga, but I completely agree that playing mudops is not condusive to a happy realm and have chosen not to play, as for players gone, some may return, some won't, the coming weeks should be a little eventful, I am hoping we can get the worst of the outstanding bugs resolved as this is the underlying cause of the absence of players.

reasons why angruin should be the new mud op:

1. I'm not playing greatermud anymore.

2. I would not cheat and or be biased to any player in the game.

3. I would have votes on every decision made in the game.

4. I would hold pvp tournaments for items that have been swept/picked up by me on a random basis.

5. Everyone already thinks im a douche.
