I think telnet requests might be forwarded properly if they originate from outside my LAN, but I don't have a way to test.  Anyone?

Once a noob, always a noob I spose.

Good news is we got port forwarding to work on our new router.  Unfortunately, that doesn't solve our sticky IP issue.  With a few more days of studying the science of routing I should be able to build a solution using a twig and a stick of chewing gum.

Btw any guess when the greatermud is gonna be more than just a teleconference?

donno but I'm still having some connection problems off and on though...

What kinda issue..I've been connected for several hours...my connection even survived

If he reset the router im in shock :P

My connection just dies every now and then it could be fine for a half day and then the next half I get knocked off every hr or so. Its strange though because it will look like its still connected untill I hit enter then it informs me the connection has been lost. Each time it happens I get the ghosted message too.
