You open your coin purse.
You hand over the funds.
Shannon shoves your money into her apron along with a half eaten turkey leg
and guides you into the northern pasture.  She makes a waving gesture toward
the Griffon who happily obeys the commands.  Shortly after you mount the beast
she takes off into the sky.

Duran Trade City
Duran City is known for its trade in goods.  Its mills produce the finest
lumber, its weavers the finest clothes, and its smithes the finest weapons and
armour.  Its wide and varied culture has developed because of its key location
on the riverside.  It is well known for crafting the mithril ore imported for
Stronghold Vertigo's mines.  Today the city is in a somber mood as word of the
siege spreads amongst it's townsmen.
Obvious exits: north, south, west
Brim walks into the room from the west.

We need to decide if this type of textblock teleport should break up the party or if all members should hop on to the same griffon or whatever.

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

I'm thinking that it should but I can see some logic problems with it like how can 1 griffon carry 9 players it doesn't really make sence. However in some cases like say a hot air balloon or ship it wouldn't have a problem like this. I'm sure most people don't look at details like that but it would be nice to be-able to provide additional text to explain it via messages that are triggered by a party check textblock command.

something just as simple as PartyCheck <# partysize>: "passes to next command on true"

Then with a secondary teleport like teleportpar which would work just like teleport but with the party attached. You could cover each situation. As deamed suitable by the context of the situation.

BTW we should also figure out if this should work with drag...

If I had wanted it to teleport a party I'd have made the textblock trigger a spell that targets the room with a teleport.  Since I didn't want it to target a party, I did not do that.

So you can only target a player or a room, but not a party?  If targeting a party is not possible, maybe we should add that ability?  This would probably be useful regardless of whether you're going to use it in this particular case.

Nod.

Just to be clear though, when the standard teleport ability is used:
If the player is the party leader, it should disband the party.
If the player is only a member, it should remove that member from the party.

Sound correct?
