These attack stats should be better...

lvl 60 Timelord w/exquisite morningstar.  He's makin' exp 'cause he's leeching off someone else.  Call me crazy, but 97% miss rate is a bit much.  Isn't he supposed to get better with more levels?

I recently changed the logic for acc, ac, and the chance to hit.  Obviously I got it wrong.  :-[

Previously characters were hitting way too often, even at level 1 with base stats almost any character would never miss with just about any weapon vs. mobs with little to no AC and that wasn't much better.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  I will try to get a fix in tonight when I get home.

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

Mahalo.  That was off of 8hrs.  The other two chars look normal-ish, if its any consolation.  They're combat 3 and 4 though.

Timelords are combat 1 btw.... So if compairing them look at a priest. not something thats combat 3 and 4.....

3% is way low but I don't know what your attacking either or what the other party members are swing at so more details would be helpful here....

The ranger's stats attacking the bone golems and the like w/exquisite maul (dunno where to find anything better).

Cleric is off fighting other things so really can't be used.  The ranger attack stats have been pretty consistent through the builds.  And I'm not really looking for equal damage vs. the ranger.  Unless there's a new standard for combat-1 that you're implementing, I'd just expect to see a little better than 3% hit rate.  I will say though that the Timelord/Cleric/Ranger not too long ago had about the same combat damage peak.  The only variable was weapon in hand.

Ya thats way off base.

Care to post your stats for those two characters so we have something to go against.

stats for 3 all in the same area...

If there's a slight bit of difference between the cleric/timelord, timelord has smit/blood lust as a bless.  Both are medium, ranger's light all with max stats.  Any help?

Call me crazy but doesn't that say your Timelord is hitting 77% w/ 19% crits?  ???

Is this in a different area?

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

stats from all day roamin' - all in the same area.  Timelord overall damage is less on account he's with the ranger.  Exquisite morningstar is the best 1-h that I've found.  And yes, they do seem identical.  No illusion - rechecked the stats and they're still holding.  If you throw in a new build and want new comparisons, just yell.

So how did we go from this:

Exp:   1,473 k/hr
Cash:  0 copper/hr
Miss:  97%
Hit:   3%    Rng:1-25     Avg:13

I know Wheaties are good but seriously????

If something is broken it looks like it might be in your favor here.

which is why I thought it was a "little" off in the first place.  A week ago the norm looked like the 19% crit stats, then I saw the 97% miss.

Krusty, sorry but I'm not understanding.

The last set of stats you posted, is that from a long time ago or from recently?  I assumed it was a recent list of your stats, but it's not showing the 97% miss rate you posted in your first post.  Are you saying you're not missing 97% anymore?  ???

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

Yes, the last posted stats are w/the most current build (yesterday's looping stats).  Before the reset what - month and a half ago - the stats look roughly the same as those, if you did anything with combat.  I added that in if it meant anything, but I think I just confused you with the arbitrary time references.

I am no longer missing 97% - that happened on Wednesday.  Whatever you did Thursday reflect the most recent stats.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

The thing is I haven't touched combat since you started this thread, I only fixed telepaths.  Something else must've changed with your character and/or where he was scripting from your first post until now.  Btw I think Timelords are actually combat 2.  I did test a combat 1 character in another GMUD realm and they hit like 70% on a mob with no AC, which sounds reasonable, if not high I think.

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

I could have sworn they were combat 1 but that must have been changed a while ago.
