Which seems most reasonable for testing?

Ridiculously large exp tables are great for testing
leveling 1x a week is reasonable
leveling 2x-3x a week is reasonable
leveling 3x-4x a week is reasonable
I just want giant rats worth 65mil

I think it is great that you have use the old content until you've worked out all the engine / textblock bugs. MajorMud exp tables can easily take you 6-12 months before you hit level 70.  Why not flatten them out so we can get there within 2-3 months?

Now I'm not suggesting ridiculously low experience tables but leveling ever 3-4 days with 24/7 scripting as opposed to 1/wk will make the game significantly more fun for all involved in this testing phase.

Hmm.... might not be a bad idea but let's hear what other people think.

If we do this, resets will be happening more regularly.  Nobody wants to log into a realm where everyone is already level 70+ and all lims are already taken, even if the realm is just intended for testing.

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

I think at this point in our testing we really need people to go through the game with a fine toothed comb.. I mean were still finding exit problems every now and then. I'd be worried that increasing the exp rate would just push people out of areas too fast and less bugs would be found via that happenstance.

I don't want to be the fun killer but theres lots of little bugs to be found. The mentioning of scripting 24/7 anyway is fully missing the point of having a public test realm up. So the only way I would really say yes go for it is if we limited scripting times and got more people up for playing by hand during those non-scripting hours. Really we don't need people to script the game, we could do that ourselves. What we need is people to walk around while at keys and find stuff that doesn't work or isn't right, thats the point of testing... I don't really like sounding like this because I really do want people to have fun doing the testing but someone has to say it. Plus I already feel we've been down this path with the t-rexes before and that never ended well...
