Vitoc's Beta Test turned into a piece of shit.

I see Vitoc working hard at what he believes to be actually something that he can:

A) Make some cash on
B) Bring back one of his favorite hobbies

Then I see people like Shadow bs with a hammer using a mystic to attack winterhawk.

I dont know if either of them started it actually, but I just have to point out something, just so people can see my angle and my amazement about how crappy this is running:

Winterhawk helps ALL the people on the board.  He drags noobs around green dragons, quests anyone, talks to people.

Winterhawk also kept the scripts alive, and has helped mud in general for a long long time.  Who the hell doesnt use his installer?

Why would you want him dead?  Strange.

WHy would you want to use bugs to level up faster?  IS that testing? I dont think so.  I found a ninja evil quest bug.  That should have been found many times over.   Why? someone would have rolled to a ninja, and every possible combination by now.  I duno. it just is chaotic and sux.  doesnt make sense.

Then one person in my gang uses Bow of Silver.  Well.  Thats kinda fun for a bit.  I admit its kinda fun to blow away hard stuff as a low level.  But, that should have been reported. 

BUT IT WASNT!  Why? I will explain:  because that person was in pvp so much and being attacked by Russel and probably someone else, that he found it necessary to not beta test but use bugs to excell his guy.

What the hell is the point of that?  I  have a pad next to me analyzing stats figuring out how bs works, dodge, stat changes, gear changes, etc.  Figuring things out to comment on, doign all the quests and trying to trigger as much game stuff as possible.  But I havent ina few days because russell feels like killing me.  NOw I did piss him off verbally tonight, well yes, that was bad.  Now he probably really wants to kill my character. 

The whole thing has turned to shit.  LOOK AT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON!!

and worse..... when a reset happens, it will be rush for lim's and for dominance, no test.

There are more people not doing dick and not contributing shit than I have seen in a long time.

Now, people expect vitoc's thing to not be buggy when it comes out.  Oh, it will be.  I was on the beta teams for metro.  I actually tested and reported anything and everything about the game.  I remember I had 40+ unique bugs with the mod I last worked on.   ONE of those bugs got fixed.  Mod8 was one of THE worst bugged mods possible.  Ganghouses? yeah those were great.  Everyone else on this particular beta of Metro's were supposedly "technically minded" people.  I had no clue about programming or any of that crap, so I assumed I would know the least. 

I submitted more bug reports playing 1/2 hour a day than the entire 20 person beta team.  Most had 0 bugs reported in a week.  Three people had a few each.   From day one, morons and shitheads would pvp people and try and kill bosses, shit that wasnt anything to do with what we were supposed to do.    The mod came out and the people who ran the beta showed how pathetic they were and the beta testers just kept on being morons.  Mud died because of morons.

Text based thing has nothing to do with anything.  The game would have many more players if morons didnt run the bbs's and morons didnt run the beta testing and metro itself.

I would like to continue testing the game, but as it stands, I can't log on for more than a few minutes without Russel threatening to cast a broken sleep spell on my guy and then using 100% non resistable damage spells on my guy.  

I probably won't log on and won't test the bugs I think are bugs for a couple of days until someone with some authority can make the beta test a TEST and not a stupid fest.  I noticed this the first day and people derided me for it, I was right though that focus is not on the beta but on the "game".

Lets be completely honest here: I was attacked by yer little friends. I have repeatedly warned you and them that pvping me is a bad idea. I know there's no MR, and that spells go off 100% of the time. I have reported this. Vitoc knows, but its much lower on the list, since he's spent the bulk of his time fixing textblocks because the comatability is bad. There's so many problems. Like 5th quest CRASHES mega. Yeah. I was testing this with vitoc in a seperate test realm. While I was stalking yer friends and you that fun sunday.

So even with the warning that I could rape you. Easily. Cypress and Mackerel killed my script. THEN y'all wonder why I go nuclear and start wasting all of you, and stalkin ya. Weird, eh?

Anyways, I do agree that the pvp has gotten out of hand, but this ALWAYS happens when people log on and wanna just pvp. Always. Thats why pvp realms suck and non pvp realms dont. Its always been this way. always will. Hell, even WoW gets like this over PvP. Its cuz little men with little manhoods get all aroused over it. Yer group are the only ones I've killed. wonder why?

I agree that PvP is getting a little out of hand on this board.  It's one thing to test it, another to get all volatile like you guys are. 

I don't think the beta turned into a piece of shit, as long as it's being worked on.  He can always reset it and make all these existing problems go away.

I've personally been submitted a lot of bugs, and I'm faithful that it's not a waste of time.

I do wish some of these other players shared the idea that all bugs should be submitted, not exploited to make people quit testing.

Since I rarely respond to anything I figure this will be a good idea to set a few things straight.

Since you joined el jefe its been a case of little man syndrome that's fantastic that your going to be testing formulas and percentages, to be honest we need that. I represent the casual player who has a social life and gets laid... You represent the nerd who's behind the computer flipping out cause the 0001111000 doesn't equal total domination.  It was my groups mindless scripting that allowed shadow to notice that mfre and mystics was fucked.  Howso you may wonder? Because the effects are not instant as v found out as he tried to replicate the bug over and over... For bout two hrs before he saw what was happening.

But then again what the hell do we know right cause all we are is in a race to dominance. I've rerolled to four classes now but since I don't NORMALLY play them I'm not sure what's right vs broken so I stick to what I know.

Killing Winter to me is no diff then shad and them killing you. He's a player who knows the risks and the rewards. Just cause he helped out the community does that give him a shield of invul? Gtfo.

We are all testing diff aspects of the game so just accept it and move on.
