Being that Russell knew about this bug and reported this bug a few days ago, this was a blatant violation of the board's only real rule. I hope proper action will be taken to ensure Russell cannot do this to anyone else. Below is a small capture of gossips shortly after using the bug to kill my Warlock and my Druid. In it, we can see that Hugh (Russell's dupe) is bragging about abusing the bug and basically making a mockery of this beta and it's rules. We can see that there is absolutely no accident involved here. This also lays out a tiny sample of the daily griefing that Russell does in gossips.

I've come to the point where if Russell isn't removed from the board for blatantly and repeatedly abusing bugs and breaking rules, I'm going to have to leave. I trust that this will be reviewed reasonably by Vitoc and the end conclusion would be one that any reasonable person would reach.

This dude is a dick. He pouts and throws fits all the time. Uses his "I will just not post bugs' threat every other day, and basically acts like he's the only and best hope for gmud. ANd uses this as a lever against everyone. Its tiresome. He twisted this around a bit, too. NO need. I killed him. He took things that dont belong to him.

 Any items that were taken by me were picked up by Megamud. I have a lot of limiteds set to pickup by default because 90% of the boards I play on are hostile. This didn't seem to bother Russell when he stole Winterhawks entire stash a month ago. It doesn't matter though. There is no rule dictating the picking up of any item. There is, however, one rule: Pvp is not allowed. Russell willfully and blatantly broke this rule. I trust Vitoc's judgement will stay true on this issue.

There is no current DP rule or picking up stashed item rule. And while that doesn't make it nice to go picking the stuff up if its wanted.  All of you should be dealing with this stuff like adults. Seriously you couldn't just have asked for the item back? I'm really disapointed in you MudHunter especially after you bitched and whined about having pvp in the realm and how you wouldn't play in a pvp realm.

Could always test pvp after everything else. Lets face it: Pvp kills realms. It usually draws the morons like Jeffy and Cypress/Mackerel/oompa/scwanz. I say turn off pvp.

I will state this again, this time in more strong terms.

PVP kills realms. I dunno where you've been playin, but unrestricted pvp causes so many problems, people leave. If this wasnt a test realm for gmud, I'm betting Winterhawk woulda left. I know I wouldnt be playing here with unrestricted pvp like it is. Most of us wouldnt.

pvp favors those with no life. and the ones that think its A great idea to kill someone for gear, etc. This is discouraging, since the ones with a life and slower skillz in pvp will always end up with crap bought gear and frustrations. SO in a pvp realm, you end up with all the young kids, and complete losers that cant hold down a job.

PVP KILLS REALMS.

If you must leave pvp in (And I think it'll get out of hand. Just think how it would have gone if I hadnt been able to chase the morons away, and they continued to kill scripts just for gear) Here's some suggestions:

-no pvping someone level 5 or lower, just like in majormud.
-5-10 level pvp limit. If this had been in, those weenies couldnt have caused the trouble they did at all.
-STRICT IP WATCHING. no more than 3 accounts total per ip. if caught with more than 3, delete a random one. Dude had at least 4, prolly 6 accounts to molest me with.

That said, I think its a mistakle to have pvp in a beta realm til we're ready to test pvp. pvp in majormud is almost always bad news.

I wont be playing a pvp realm, unless it was to soly test pvp. I firmly hold that pvp hurts things. before the reset we had what? 4 people on? My personal belief is to wait on pvp. There's many more important things to deal with.
