I'll be shutting down our realm and forums servers around 1pm on Thursday, 9/4/2008 at around 1PM pst.  DSL in our new house is scheduled to be installed sometime on Monday, 9/8/2008.  I will try to get everything set up (including the dns changes) and running by Tuesday, 9/9/2008.  We're going to be running a slightly slower download stream (sucks, but that's all that's available) but a higher upload stream, so it should be pretty transparent to our userbase.  Pings may rise or drop based on your location as we're moving about 800 miles from where we're centered now to southern Idaho.  I should be able to continue development on GreaterMUD starting the weekend of 9/13 and make a push toward a beta release of v1.0 within another month or two.

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

I say first new change after you get set up should be to add in the custom runic coin name and change the name of runic coins to potato, spud, or some other variation of the name to honor your adventurous move...

See yall on the 9th or sometime around there.... good luck again vitoc....

Vitoc, let someone else set up the desk ;)  You take to long.

(it had to be said!)

Be carefull out there on the road, see ya when you get everything back up and going.

Welcome back Greatermud.... :)
Yeah, sorry for that longer-than-expected delay.  There was a mixup with the package I ordered.  They gave me a dynamic setup when I specifically ordered static IPs.  We should be getting the static IPs this Tuesday, and at that point the images that tie into the realm that some people are using on forums and Gardner's utillity will start working again.

My ISP must be refreshing dynamic IPs more frequently than I suspected.  I just updated the DNS with the new IP, and I'll try to get a dynamic dns client running to try to minimize downtime until they give me the stupid package I ordered in the firsrt place.
