This list is a summary of all the work done this month on the Greatermud project.  This list is intended to give an overview to visitors to show them that this project is still very much alive, and that work is being done on a regular basis.  Most importantly, it shows that this program has actual, honest to God support, that responds to bugs as they are brought up, and fixes them.



09-06-09

  • Modified TGS to allow multiple realms to run under 1 instance of TGS
  • Modified GM Engine to allow multiple realms to run
  • Fixed various op functions to work with multi realms
  • Added in Set Receive on/off (In tonights update)
  • Added in Set Gossip on/off (In tonights update)
    You will still see "special" gossips from ops even if you have gossip turned off.  This is not a bug.
  • Added pvp level restrictions
  • Offset cleanup in the pvp realm to run after cleanup in the non pvp realm to help reduce lag
  • Various other little changes needed for the new multi realm setup


09/08

  • Sysop Announce Feature (as you saw) is in
  • Fixed problem with stat lines not updating when you heal
  • Changed timed spell interval to 4 seconds from 3 seconds
  • Fixed problem in PVP Realm where users wearing a mag +1 item became a mag 1 player


09/20

  • Worked on the problem with equipment being removed at restart.  We were unable to reproduce the bug, but we did find what we think may have caused the problem.  When this patch is loaded, all weapons and armour will be unequipped from all players.  You'll have to redress yourself when you enter the realm.  It is our hope that this resolves the final issues with the new items system.
  • Fixed problem with all gang members showing online status in BG list
  • Fixed (we think) problem with gang paths bleeding over on char creation screen
  • Fixed problem with seeing gang paths after leaving/getting kicked out of a gang
  • Fixed problem with double gang paths after begging your way back into a gang you left/got kicked out of
  • Looking into the 50% cpu spike issue.  No solution yet.
