More than any other cap, this one made metro do alot of changes:

1. Lich's area is now one room
2. All use items are level 0 spells
3. Sunburst is no longer a mana spell, it has uses.
4. Same with dragonclaw

Plus it is easily the best capture ever. Done without using a bug, soling lich. Its just win all around.

(DC posted another solo lich using a bug, too)

Don't forget they also locked it up so you can only go in his room one time, do or die.

yea, I have the other cap of him killing him, but it's just 15 damage constantly over a few pages. not really interesting

I'm curious (haven't been to lich before).

In this current version, what happens if you attempts Lich and die? Where do your gear go?

Depends on the age of the realm.  In a smaller realm with fewer people the game will properly scatter your gear in the current room followed by your previous rooms.  As realms age the game tends to revert to its previous code and sys support items that goto rooms without exits, or poof...depending on the games mood.
