A cash pouch or coin purse as an item to but cash into.
&
Make it so cash can be transferable between players accounts

Bank stuff semi-discussed here:

In most games the coin purse is pretty much assumed...I don't see a reason to change that. It just means everyone and their half brother will have "A coin purse is attached to his/her belt" in the personal description.

Ooh...are players able to write their own char descript? Within reasonable limits, that is...specify hair/eye color, and add in a good line or two for the dreaded RP value?
"...There was always a minority afraid of something, and a great majority afraid of the dark, afraid of the future, afraid of the past, afraid of the present, afraid of themselves and shadows of themselves..." --Ray Bradbury, The Martian Chronicles

Umm eye color/hair color..we haven't really talked about what the char descriptions will look like...not sure exactly how to make megamud happy about those.

Screw megamud.
Wait, am I allowed to say that?

I don't think megamud pulls anything when you looking at a player from the description other than what items they are wearing. so you should be fairly safe as long as the name and gang apear in the correct spot. Oh and if I remember correctly it doesn't care about added item slots also.

TCA

It pulls stat approximations, race, and class info.

I forgot about the race and class thats a must. Do think anyone would really miss the stat approximations though if they were not working?

As long as custom decriptions are allowed, I don't think it's a big deal...but looking at someone and seeing only gear is kinda akwad...for me, anyway.

Yes clearly I'm making a text porn.  Lesuire Suit Mud.

I was thinking you'd have the standard description: Bob is a strong, average looking dwarf fighter. He is wearing [blah blah blah].

Then the user could customize something around 250 characters to customize their character and more fully describe it with things not mentioned in the standard lines...describe general appearance like hair color/length, any scars or tattoos the player envisions for the char, etc.

Sure, you'll have the people who insist on putting in "I hAvE a HuGe CoCk lollolololzzzz" but overall I think it'd be good for char development...or at least interesting reading and confirmation of who exactly is an idiot.

Valentine this is the type of player description that mmud uses:

[ Abram X ]
Abram is a thin, slightly built Human Warrior with no hair and black eyes.  He
moves slugishly, and is quite unfriendly and aloof.  Abram appears to be
slightly dull and seems a little naive.  He is unwounded.

He is equipped with:

Nothing

the red colored parts change based on stats.

Thanks, but I know how it works. I was just pointing out where the customs descript would go and why.

It sounded like you knew but i wasn't sure if you'd seen the actual mmud description yet.

Heehee...thanks to the alpha runs I finally have...pretty much the same as every other mud.

I had a weird VR dream about this game.

That used to happen to me when I used to obsessively play by hand for hours on end. Scripting kinda cured that though.

I used to be a Dungeon Keeper junkie...one weekend I played it for 28 hours straight. I was hearing imps all week long (nyah-haha!).
