On stacking lives by powereleveling and not training

Old MajorMUD had a Sysop defined limit to the number of levels you could stack before you would no longer acquire experience points until training.

Will GreaterMUD also have such a system option? I ask because in the PVP realm there is a gang led by Lord who is operating under this strategy. They are acquiring as many levels as possible by powerleveling at the Webbed Lair. My purchasing of such a system would be wholly dependent on my ability to regulate this kind of gameplay abuse.



It's not really an abuse since even in Majormud anyone could stack what... 14 I think? levels.  Nobody here has anywhere near that many stacked right now on the PvP realm.

Banking levels/lives is a valid (and wise) decision in an active pvp realm.  You only get 5 lives per level, if you die a lot, you'll need those extra levels.  It's also a good way to protect yourself from people who are 15 levels higher than yourself.

Stacking levels in Mertro MajorMUD is configurable from 0-16 levels.

Maybe I just made that up?  Its possible it was just during one of the beta builds..I don't recall I'll do some research on the topic.

I've been running the nt version and you have been able to do 1-16 levels  for all of the NT versions of Major Mud
