The way our alignment modification command works would not allow me to simply add to what you have currently.  The command puts you at a set amount.

make it so you can choose your align and can always attack anyone, all items drop on hangup unless some bug is abused!

Ok this is coming from a person who thinks the current system is fucked but the following questionstions I think need to be answered:

1.There have been roumers t hat at least one individual has had lives added to them. Have lifes been added to anyone? and if they have and the realm has voted against the 'lives' option then surely they should be stripped and if that means that person is rerolled so be it. They have made there bed now sleep in it. At the start of this push Gardner u said there will be no adding lifes this time . or help from u

2. When i complained about hellblade because ep is bullshit and bugged, and you (gard) will not be interfeering with the game. So if someone has been helped then it is bullshit and should be reversed asap. There have been situations in the past this Push where I have been on low lives and close to being rolled yet have not been helped. There needs to be a level playing field for everyone.

3. You need to provide more indicative time frames as to when problems are going to be resolved. At the moment we are being kept in the dark. I think this lack of information is what is so frustrating from the players point of view. For example if it is only going to be a month until the PVP problems are fixed then I would support the options which would see PVP being turned off for that period of time.

You are obviously already aware however there are many very significant and equally impacting PVP bugs that we are getting frustrated about other than the ep/retal system such as the stun/sleep spells not acting correctly and being majorly over powered. We still have not had any indication as to when these problems are going to be resolved. I relise this is a 'test' realm at the end of the day people do invest a bit of time into this, and if things are not working correctly for an extended period of time, and their only options are a) to keep being pvp'd to death from unfixed bugs, b) sit in the bank all day to wipe of EPS or c) leave the realm and have items stripped (which is fine) then thats when the frustration sets in, as none of these options are ideal.

4. I havn't voted yet, I would like to get some of these questions answered first if possible.

It did happen, it was a mistake, typing in the wrong window.  I can not take them back.

I can't give you a firm timeline on when any of these issues will be fixed.  As I have information it gets passed on to the users normally.

I do not mind putting in temporary solutions to the problems, but I will not put in a solution that benefits one group over another regardless of how the vote turns out.

why u give vote if u no follow. regardless? u carlos ha ha

Just to make this clear for everyone, a player who was on 1 life and was rerolled was given lives by 'mistake'?

If this is the case, why not teleport the player to the wraith knight room? I am pretty sure that would be an effective way of removing lives.

The rules clearly state no lives are to be given out, whether by mistake or otherwise, the player should be forced to reroll. We all voted on this at the beginning (as the rule regarding lives also states).

More concerning is that we had our suspicions following Kyosho's admission (that you did give him lives), but it was only until Klavin (RiseOfTerror) produced hard evidence to shed light on what had unfolded that we were certain of what had transpired. Consequently, trust has been lost. None of us can be certain that other 'mistakes' have not taken place in the past and we have no way of checking that these 'mistakes' will not take place in the future.

All ya had to do was ask and I would have told you, just as I told him, what happened.  Klavin only proved that 2 days ago Kyosho was on 1 life.

When you become perfect you can take my place.  Until then, I'm pretty sure that at some point or another you've made a mistake in your life, typed in the wrong window, made a typo, ect.

Klavin's intel was invaluable in determining what had happened. It showed us that Kyosho was on 1 life. It showed us he was at level 44 and approximately half way to level 45. The only explanation we could entertain was that Kyosho had a level banked, but then why would you have a level banked when sitting on 1 life? The only other explanation was that he was given lives and following Kyosho's partial admission, the evidence was compelling. When the question was put to you, you acknowledged it was a mistake and so I now ask,  what are your reasons for your unwillingness to remedy your mistake?

I read that you "Can not take them [lives] back", but surely you can find a way to remove lives from a player.

The player in question was rerolled fair and square. His negligence in not configuring his Megamud correctly is of no concern to anyone and is not a justification for breaking the rules. In fact, the rules clearly state:

"Failure to set up your megamud properly is your fault, not ours."

In regards to your last point, no one is asking for perfection - all we are asking for is what we voted for.

Again you could have gotten the same information by asking, as Kyosho did when he didn't get rolled.

Can I ask him to go kill himself to remove the 2 lives that he got? Sure.  Next time I see him I'll ask that he do so.  Yall have hunted him back down to one life though, I'm sure you can remedy the situation as easily as I can since I am unwilling to ask him to roll himself to correct my mistake.

Gardner

Can you type in other peoples window that are not on 1 life by mistake as well? What are the chances!.

I can accept your mistake, I can accept the lack of publicly making this available, and being transparent with your actions.

What I can not accept is a ghost person effecting the realm, what if this supose to be rerolled person kills someone and takes there gear you going to undo that?.

The fact that you are totally and strongly against rerolling does not seem to be helping you in this favor, and fair actions are not being taken.

I dont see any point in testing greatermud anymore, the amount of hours put in even, the time that the people spent to kill kyosh again, you say oh just reroll him again, so you want us to camp for 3 days and then in 3 days you going to ask us to please leave.

You are defending a person that throws his lives away, and expects to get babyed out of the situation, lives are precious and should be treated that way.

In fact I am not sure why I am even bothering to post here what difference does it make.

I'm sure that all the folks who cried about how unfair it is that Kyosho got 2 lives will be happy to know that he rolled today.

REROLL: User Kyosho player 53-Kyosho Driver rerolled at 4/21/2010 2:30:54 PM.

So there you go, the vast conspiracy is now over.

The "Do nothings" won so no steps will be taken to put in temporary fixes for the existing ep/spellcasting/retaliation bugs.  We'll put out a patch to address these issues at some point but no idea when that might be.
