I see you resisted an srip to the tune of about 35 damage. While that was good for that one round, I think witchies should be resisting most magic rounds that way, not just the occasional one.

157 magic resistance.

I dont mind the failed resistances so much as not being able to hit a priest quite a few levels below me dodging all my swings except one.

I mind it, the maximum damage he should be able to hit for is 135.  The range should be 30-135, so you're still taking too much damage.  Luckily, the dodge thing really isn't a problem with your class, and its been a somewhat reoccurring theme recent caps with characters dodging way more than they should, obviously we need to look into that.

Well, one makes me get hit a little harder....the other makes me not able to do damage whatsoever against anyone who can dodge...and on a pvp board that means i'm worthless.
