Keys

One of the things that always bugged me was that keys broke so easily in MMUD and with a predictable amount of uses. I was thinking it would be more interesting across the board to make it so keys were unlimited uses but had a chance for breaking with each use. Perhaps there could even be a way of increasing the odds of it breaking the more you use it or having the material the key is made from play a part.

Metal Key extremely hard to break
Stone Key hard to break
Bone/horn/tooth key medium risk of breaking
Wood key easy to break

hehe, I don't really think its straying to far since they still break. It just means it has a chance of breaking on its first use just as much as it does on the 500th.
