If you found out that the GreaterMUD community was on the verge of collecting enough money for a finish product of gmud, how much would you contribute?

For an example, all we needed was $1000, what would be your chunk of commitment?

Assume that you would get something out of contributing, for example your own Realm when it's distributable [provided you contributed enough].

i already gave 20...id give another 20....u owe 40 now....

How much would I pay you? Who hasn't done shit for GMUD? Nothing.

How much would I pay Vitoc? Something.

Kalus, I'll try to refrain from using foul language about your stupidity; the point of contributing would be to get greatermud completed, which is worked on by Vitoc. I have little to nothing to do with that, as you so aptly pointed out, and therefore the contributions would go to the GreaterMUD fund [in order for GreaterMUD to be completed]. How many ways do I have to explain that, perhaps you have a more simply way?

MONEY GO TO VITOC. VITOC TAKE MONEY COMPLETE PROJECT.

I would question as to whether this is what's necessary for Vitoc to complete GreaterMud.  I always thought that he and the other developers were only doing this out of love for the game.

That's a good question. Let me contradict it with a paradigm: My love of the game is great enough to use money to have it completed. Hope you voted!

I would maybe pay for specific features. Vitoc has said countless times that he will not accept donations for specific features. He will only accept no-strings donations. I have no interest in no-strings donations given the current speed of development.

It is maybe a policy worth revisiting.
