crits, dodge and martial arts

here is what i notice....i havent played in regular mud in a while so im not for sure if this is actually how it supposed to work...

adamantite ring is +1 crits, give me 2 ma
monk is max 10 dodge, gives me 20 ma
tiger claw is 15 dodge, gives me 30 ma
peasant cloak is 2 crits, gives me 4 ma
silversilk tunic is 10 dodge, gives me 20 ma

and im curious if dodge and crit items act the same on other classes other than mystics and possibly ninjas...

Yes, each +1 crit or +1 dodge = +2 MA for a mystic

i kinda remember sumthin like that, does it actually give the double crits and or dodge? is this the way it is for ninjas too? what about halfling anything, does their plus dodge as a race do sumthin funny with dodge or crit items? the same gear i posted on a say a dwarf ranger, what would be the added bonus? how about a halfling mystic or ninja, would it still be double or would sumthin get weird and give even more? just curious, i obviously am not gonna roll 5 times to check out all the variables....
