Greetings!

I can't find much information regarding mystics's damage.  How does it work?  I've seen some mystics jumpkicking for over 400 dmg a swing.  But... how is it possible to get that high?  That would require an un-obtainable amount of STR and +dmg gear.

Is there another component I'm missing?  Does JU damage go up as you level up?  I certainly don't see that happening for punches.  Wondering if someone might know how the mechanic works... thanks!

Jumpkick max damage scales with level, and + max damage scales jumpkick.

So by that you mean, if you were lvl 30, jumpkick would do at most 30 damage if you had no other modifiers?  Lvl 40 would have you doing 40 max dmg with jump kick?

1 max damage gives 1.66 ju damage. So mystics benefit more from max damage gear, str and spells than other classes. Not unobtainable.

I mean, what vile just said..you get 1.66 more damage per max damage.

Yet another reason mysticks are stupid over powered IMO.  That whole max damage modifier crap needs to go away.

ive played some mystics...and i was always under the impression that well they are pretty cookie cutter....just point and click and ju all day long....they seem way overpowered until the 50s when other ppl start swinging big heavy hittin 2 handers...a mystic in the 50s just tops out and only way to keep gettin better would be to keep addin dmg gear....but most of the good stuff is limited...prior to one of the resets recently i had a neko mystic i think and gard passed out the exp for lev 80+ or whatever...and i was gettin smoked by the other folks in 70s and 80s range....i didnt have any lims and i just couldnt hang...so if i had my choice between say a lev 65 mystic or anything else...id reckon to say i would not pick mystic...but lev 30 to 55 id go mystic...id guess a high level hog mystic with the extra 40 stats would do lots of dmg cuz of the strength and tons of hps to boot...

I've gone from about lvl 34 to lvl 39 on my mystic, and I have seen a single increase in JU damage.  He is still doing the same range and everything.  So by that I don't understand how jumpkicks "scale with level".  Is it maybe every 5 levels or something?

from lev 34 to 39 did u raise strength or gain any damage gear modifiers?

i didnt know level itself would adjust the min/max dmg and min/max crit dmg..only strength and dmg modifiers....shrug
