Non-limited items with no regen

I haven't perused the db, but to me this kind of 'feature' doesn't seem too good. Or, it is an amazing feature and we should make a lot of things non-lim with no regen. Like clubs. Just kidding, can we get this fixed? All similar items are shop 5 max in the gypsy shop.

The nogen flag means it won't gen this item in a shop.  The fact that no chests or monsters are listed means nothing has been coded to drop the item.  This is an issue in the content not in the engine.

Glad we cleared that up! So does that mean you don't want to fix this feature because it's working as intended, or because putting it at max 5 regen in the shop would severely violate laws of reality? I guess from a mud replicater stand point you guys don't want to change any content until whenever. If these items get flushed, they could potentially be extinct, unlike all other limited items, so I was questioning the nature of it. Do we want items that can be extinct? If so, this is the only one I see that's like that

I have no issues changing the content if Vitoc does not mind doing it.  I was simply explaining the mechanics at work.  As far as how often this happens, there are actually hundreds of items in the database that are similar, we're unlikely to change all of them.

The item was taken out of the shop because it's op.

Just to clear it up, the layered sun skirt (as an example) can start in the game, since it is auto-genned in shop, the same way a silvery skullcap is at the beginning. After people buy out the first five, they will not regen or drop. Potentially, the 5 items could all be flushed, and then no one would ever see them again, because they don't regen or drop. It's not a hack, but it is an unusual circumstance, which is why I pointed it out. Also no one ever plays gypsy. God I wish I hadn't rolled

Quite honestly, I think this is exactly how Izak wanted it. Stupid as it sounds.

Silvery Skullcaps are not a noregen item.  They are a very low % chance of regen, like 2% for 1 every 12 hours or so.

I understood you.  What I'm saying is that I think that the sun skirts should not be in the shop ever vs the skull cap which can be since it is a low regen item.

So you're saying that the skirt should not be in game? If it's not in shop, then it would both not be in shop and not be a drop. You are suggesting we delete an in-play item from the game?
