PVP Realm Alignment system change

I propose the following changes.

1. Ep tick = 0
2. Alignment bot (Gardner) under TS, require user to be in room for alignment change. (can use talk or directed message commands for trigger)


Pros:

1.Fixes issues with FIEND.
2.Encourages PVP (Good align can cloud all day and not lose their EQ).
3.Evil never has to worry about losing gear while scripting for extended periods.
4.Resistant to abuse - Can't script an area that gens EPs and just telepath your way out of it.
5.Only coding required is to change EP tick to 0.
6.Gard already has capability to change aligns, just need to change from telepath to talk command.

Cons:

1. Seems like a short term solution (but still better than nothing).
2. There may be ways to abuse system that aren't apparent at the moment. (please advise)
3. Being able to change alignments removes a strategic game dynamic. (whaa whaa, it discourages PVP anyways)

Just be able to cloud once the max EP cap is hit.

How about if you exceed 201 eps it should roll to 150 and repeat.

I'm no programmer by any means...But is it really that hard to just make it so you can keep clouding at max eps but not actually gain more eps?  Just thinkin about it it doesnt sound like it should be too hard...But what do I know.

I can stay online, in the bank at least as long as I have a stable inet connection.  Since I do use this computer for other things though, I have to reboot every few days.

If some other ideas are presented that don't require any new coding for Vitoc then let me know. Every other idea i have seen in the other thread involves some level of programming. This solution doesn't. It's not meant to be perfect, its meant to be better than nothing.

Regardless or not if this bandaid fix is possibly the only viable option for whatever reason...The ep system still plays a good role in pvp, especially when its closer to a fresh start.  Being able to just telepath gard @good, @neutral, @evil to Gardner ruins that aspect of pvp.  People shouldnt be able to just turn neutral or good immediately because they go evil and start getting harassed.  Evil players are more vulnerable to being attacked.  I'm kind of against these types of features cause it just ruins the how the game is played.  Being neutral/good/saint atm has its role, and people still stay good/saint because people fear being evil and being attacked.

Remove Saint and this issue becomes significantly less of an issue.

Sysop alignment change bots have no place on a pvp realm.

Didn't realize that he had an exp min setting for evils. 3 eps per tick even better solution.
