Sneaking mobs have blank lines when they enter the room. All the delves do that. They're following you around, but they're no "Mob enters from the north" type message.

Delf queen is mag-3, long golden staff is mag-2. You can't hit her with that weapon.

RE: the bug. You have to look closer. It's not the blank lines that are the problem (although they are a problem). I didn't move once yet some times the mobs were there sometimes the mobs weren't (notice the aa d, aa q -> "your command has no effect"). Perhaps they were collectively sneaking in/out of the room randomly?

This was a bug caused by reverting a section of code that was remarked out, the result was that chase messages are never used instead a default message is.  While I'd prefer to use the proper chase messages, which in this case would be null, the most important thing to note here is that a null line shouldn't be sent as a blank line.
