Just talked about this in the test server..

It would be nice if we could set the display of the bankbook so it can display the current balance in a bunch of user selectable ways.

Something like set bankdes <option>

Default would be normal majormud like
Gold would give you a total in gold
Silver would give you a total in silver
Runic would give you a total in runic
plat would give you a total in plat.

I hope I got that down right though... Someone mentioned verbose and brief for the bank but I'll let them add that..

With the new style, it would look something like this:

Your balance at Bank of Godfrey (#8) is:
On deposit: 7 runic coins, 36 platinum pieces + random poo change

Edit: Just to be clear, I didn't mean that it would keep listing your money, eg 75 gold, 4 silver, 8 copper.  I actually want that sentence to end in "random poo change", "pocket change" or "shrapnel".  If you've got runic, you don't care how much extra gold you have on top of that.

That would work I just figured the that the options would give people the ability to see it how they wanted.. I think I like your way better.

I wouldn't call it old and new though maybe use mmud or gmud for the settings...
