I believe the proper spelling is n00bette.

And now that I have bizarre images of mudding Smurfs in my head....

Botanical nomenclature,ICBN is independent of zoological and bacteriological nomenclature, which are governed by their own Codes.

The ICBN applies not only to plants, as they are now defined, but also to other organisms traditionally studied by botanists. This includes blue-green algae (Cyanobacteria); fungi, including chytrids, oomycetes, and slime moulds; photosynthetic protists and taxonomically related non-photosynthetic groups. There are special provisions in the ICBN for some of these groups, as there are for fossils.

Fungi, unlike embryophytes and algae, are non-photosynthetic, but are saprotrophs: obtaining food by breaking down and absorbing surrounding materials. Most fungi are formed by microscopic structures called hyphae, which may or may not be divided into cells but contain eukaryotic nuclei. Fruiting bodies, of which mushrooms are most familiar, are the reproductive structures of fungi. They are not related to any of the photosynthetic groups, but are close relatives of animals. Therefore, the fungi are in a kingdom of their own.

is that pronounced "roffle-copter"? I've always wondered that...and by always I mean for the past 10 years...but that seems like forever...kind of like waiting for X-men on Friday.

I really hope that movie doesn't suck. But I have a very bad feeling about it...

I was pleasantly surprised by the first two.? Crossing my fingers...

TGS v1.0 (coming soon)

Me too...they moved the plot along at warp speed, but I liked it. With Singer off directing Superman, though, I'm curious how it will go this time.

Yeah, that's the thing that worries me: instead of Bryan Singer we're getting the guy who directed uh..  Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2 (Brett Ratner)? I'll go see it; I loved the first two. I'm just worried the new guy will screw it up. :P

He let Halle Berry have sex with wolverine, how can you go wrong?
