Its been way too quiet in here lately...

Agreed.

When development gets rolling again things should pick up again (hopefully).  I believe we have some hardware (CPU/RAM) that is being donated for our GMUD server, so that will get me in the GMUD spirit.  I think Soul is going back to work soon (if not already) and he said he'd be available to work more on it as well.  The only question now is whether we use the old TGS or the newer version which is about 50% complete.  The newer version will be pretty much oblivious to deadlocks which have plagued the old version, but it will require a lot of work before we can get it to the point the old version is at now.

Its just me but I would have to say lets go with the new version of the TGS since its begining to seem like it might take a while for content to get rolled out anyway. Not to mention getting rid of the deadlocks would be a big bug off the list. What needs to be done with the new one to get it up to the point where the old one is?

Any word from DC on how the content is comming along I haven't seen him around much so I haven't been able to ask him?

I'm here..and honestly I've been kinda slow on my end.  Although I havent forgotten about it..just you know..slow.

lol na I'm an unemployed insomiac at the moment so I'm always around even though sometimes it just takes me a while to answer stuff.

I worked on the telnet server for a couple hours tonight.  Making really good progress, should have an extremely stable, robust, and hopefully fast (at least 16 fps? hah) telnet server using a finite state machine implementation by tomorrow.

Better be carefull you might overload our vid cards with the frames moving that fast. Anyway very very cool glad to hear that its comming along quicker then I thought it would hehe.
